Our Christmas post boxes are up and running, and we have received mail off postmen and postwomen despite their free stamp allocation. That for me is the biggest compliment we can get as a company. They would rather send their mail through us rather than use the business they work for. We are already a fifth of the way to hit our target for this year, which is so amazing for everyone involved and of course the charity we are raising money for. Just a quick note on the Christmas post, if you are intending to use our service please either write very clearly the address and the postcode is really important. Anything sent should have your postcode and house number written on the back in case something is badly addressed or illegible. It's the only way we can locate the sender.
Christmas is such a difficult period for everyone in the delivery sector, but after working for the biggest companies I can assure you that the feet on the street are doing everything they can to deliver your Christmas. Unfortunately the people making the decisions in the offices have made it virtually impossible for everyone to have Christmas delivered on time. After many months of delivering mail it's very satisfying to be delivering peoples Christmas cards knowing that the recipient has someone out there willing to pay some pennies to say Merry Christmas. It's really quite humbling. I have to be honest tho I have never been a sender of Christmas cards unless it's to family who can't join us at Christmas. It is truly astounding how many cards some people send, as it's not cheap, I mean it's cheaper with LPS but even then if your sending 50 cards it's not cheap. Or I could and probably am a cheapskate đ.
